FAQ
How long does a VST plugin take to design, code and deliver?
This depends on many factors, The main factor will be the scope of the design, how much work is involved. In general terms a design can take anywhere from 2 or 4 weeks for the main presentation to be concluded, which will depend on how many elements need to be designed and animated. Also some designs may require additional pages to design. After the design is approved it gets handed over to one of our audio unit developers for coding. This is a lengthy process which takes several weeks or months. The developers will be testing the unit device in different Operating systems and (DAW) digital audio workstations, to ensure the unit functions are immaculate. Within this period there is a constant communication between designer, client and developer.
How do you justify your costs?
The cost of a VST plugin varies on the scope of the time involved from start to finish, which involves a lengthy process, time is of the essence when it comes to design, from skyping endless hours with the client and developers, until the unit is concluded. Personal time is a must, your involvement is critical for the outcome of the product. More information will be provided during the initial Skype session.

Prior to starting the design an NDA is signed ensuring discretion of the clients product is kept within vstdesigns.com closure policy. A 50% of the total amount is required, and upon completion of the project, in order for files to be transferred the remaining balance must be cleared.
Design Progress
We do live share screen so you can see the progress of your vst plugin, nothing gets outsourced to other designers, as we would never trust
such a complex procedure to be freelanced by anyone else but ourselves. Our plugins designs are custom built from scratch, you can also view
